 Betty Hay was one of 25 invited artists taking part in the Islanders - Hawaii Plein Air Painters Invitational. A week of painting on location on Maui. Betty Hay was the only female artist from the state of Hawaii included in this 2007 event.

HAWAII PLEIN AIR PAINTERS

Betty Hay was one of 25 invited artists taking part in the islands, Hawaii Plein Air Painters. A week of painting on location on Maui. Betty Hay will be painting at the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua from noon to 3pm. Betty Hay Freeland was proud to receive two awards on opening night.

 The Irvine Museum Award of Excellence was received for "Take Home Maui." The Maui Giclee 2006 Choice Award was received for "Plantation Course, Kapalua".
