MAKALAPUA MOLOKAI, KAPALUA, MAUI

"In the early 1990s, I was commissioned to do the large entry piece at the Kapalua Plantation Clubhouse. The course was not open to the public and I was free to wander the entire area. This view is from the top of the course at #17. 'Makalapua Molokai' is a companion piece to 'Plantation Course' which presently hangs in the entry of the clubhouse. When the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua went into construction, this painting was purchased, and now hangs at the concierge desk in the hotel lobby. The original is 40x60."
