OLINDA MORNING, PIIHOLO RANCH

"I spent a morning at the Piiholo ranch near Makawao, Maui. Morning light streaming through the Koa trees had to be painted. I did this larger painting after a smaller plein air canvas. This canvas has distinctive brush work adding excitement to the
grass and edges of leaves."
